Day 1: Arrival & Scenic Wonders
After arriving at Tambolaka Airport, start your journey at Waikacura Waterfall, a hidden natural gem. Then, explore the Sumba Museum, where you’ll learn about the island’s history, culture, and traditions. End the day at Mananga Aba Beach, a peaceful white sand beach perfect for relaxation. Finally, check in at Sima Sumba Hotel for a restful night.
Day 2: Traditional Villages & Coastal Beauty
Today, immerse yourself in Sumba’s culture at Ratenggaro Village, known for its towering traditional houses. Then, take a dip in Waikuri Lagoon, a breathtaking saltwater lagoon surrounded by cliffs. Plan A takes you to Tanggedu Waterfall, a stunning, off-the-beaten-path spot with crystal-clear waters, followed by a visit to Purukambera Beach and Walakiri Beach, where mangrove trees create an unforgettable sunset view. Plan B offers an alternative adventure, starting with Waimarang Waterfall, a hidden jungle paradise, followed by a cultural visit to Rende Village, before ending the day at Walakiri Beach.
Day 5: Farewell Sumba
