Day 2: Ruteng – Bajawa
Today’s journey takes you through breathtaking mountain landscapes as you make your way to Bajawa. Stop at Aimere, a small town known for its traditional arak (palm liquor) production, and see how locals create this strong and famous Flores beverage. Next, step back in time at Bena Traditional Village, a megalithic settlement where ancient stone structures and handwoven textiles tell stories of the past. Unwind in the relaxing Malanage Hot Springs, where warm volcanic water flows directly into a natural river, creating the perfect mix of hot and cold pools. After a long day of exploring, check in at your hotel in Bajawa for a restful night.
Day 3: Bajawa – Riung 17 Islands
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive towards Riung, passing through mountain roads with stunning coastal views. Along the way, take a break at Soa Hot Spring in Mengeruda, where you can soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters. Upon arrival in Riung, take in the relaxed seaside atmosphere before indulging in a delicious seafood dinner, featuring freshly grilled fish and other local delicacies. Enjoy the peaceful evening in this quiet coastal town before another exciting day ahead.

Today is all about the ocean! Hop on a boat and explore the Riung 17 Islands Marine Park, a stunning archipelago known for its crystal-clear waters and diverse marine life. Snorkel in vibrant coral reefs, swim in the warm tropical sea, or simply relax on pristine white sand beaches. Enjoy a picnic lunch on an uninhabited island, where you can soak in the tranquility of this untouched paradise. In the evening, return to Riung for another delightful seafood dinner, capping off a perfect day of island-hopping adventures.
Day 5: Riung – Ende – Moni
Bid farewell to Riung and travel along the coast towards Ende, stopping at Blue Stone Beach, a picturesque shoreline where the smooth blue pebbles create a surreal landscape. In Ende, visit Sukarno’s Exile House, where Indonesia’s first president spent years in political exile, and learn about his influence on the country’s independence.
